The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX/Exchange) is delighted to announce that Alderman Sir John Stuttard will address the audience at its high-profile event in London next month.
Alderman Sir John Stuttard has been confirmed as key note speaker for the CISX International Business Summit, which takes place at Mansion House, the Lord Mayor’s residence in London on September 29th.
Sir John spent his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner for 30 years, and is now Deputy Chairman of the firm’s Advisory Board. His extensive experience includes auditing, acquisitions, stock exchange listings and privatisations for UK, US and Scandinavian companies. Sir John served in the UK Cabinet Office for two years and spent five years in China as PwC Executive Chairman.
The CISX International Business Summit will bring together professionals from the Channel Islands, London and further afield to hear expert speakers debate topical issues and major market developments in the financial markets.

As part of the Exchange’s commitment to education, students from the Channel Islands and the City of London Cass Business School have also been offered the opportunity to attend as guests of the Exchange. Within the Channel Islands , Highlands College in Jersey along with Ladies’ College and the Grammar School in Guernsey have been asked to participate in a competition and one winner from each school will be selected to represent their school at the event.

During his tenure as Mayor of the City of London, Sir John Stuttard was particularly interested in promoting the City of London as a centre of excellence for business education and we are pleased to offer Channel Islands students the opportunity to broaden their outlook by attending such an event.”
