Future Connect is Jersey Finance’s forum aimed at less-senior professionals and those starting out in their careers in the finance industry. Having identified an opportunity to enhance the mentoring options available in the industry locally, in 2022 we are enhancing Future Connect by offering Future Connecters the opportunity to have a mentor from another Jersey Finance Member firm.
What is the mentoring scheme?
The mentoring scheme will match you with a mentor who will help you in developing your future career in the industry, shaping the experience together in the ways you agree. All our mentors are experienced finance professionals, who will help you develop your skills, advance your goals, and enable you to learn from others’ experiences to reach your full potential.

When does it run?
The mentoring scheme will run from September 2022 until March 2023. It starts with a launch event to introduce mentees to their mentor and help establish goals and the structure of your mentoring going forward.
It’s then up to and your mentor to decide on the key aims, goals and mutual commitments. You should work together to shape the scheme to meet your requirements. We recommend that you agree these between you at the outset. We will check in with you from time to time to ensure that all is going well!

Please send an email expressing your interest to become a mentee to Nathalie Andersson by 19 August. Nathalie will also happily answer any questions that you might have.
If you are not already signed up to Future Connect, that’s no problem, the forum is open to anyone from a Jersey Finance Member firm at no additional cost.
