Chris Blampied, Head of Banking, RBC Wealth Management, said: ‘The Lions Club Swimarathon is a great community event for the Island and we are thrilled to have supported it over the last decade. To mark this special anniversary, we will increase our traditional lap donation amount by an additional 10p for the total laps swum by the first ten teams who register with JustGiving.’
‘All 10 beneficiaries of next year’s Swimarathon aid mental health or support islanders living with changes brought about by a brain related accident or illness, and with Mind Jersey currently our staff nominated Charity of the Year, we are pleased to extend this support into 2016.’
For a chance to win one of ten ‘golden hours’, teams should visit justgiving.com/lionsswimarathon and register by clicking ‘Fundraise for Us’, selecting ‘Jersey Swimarathon 2016’ as the event.
