Mourant Ozannes partner, Helen Ruelle, has won a Bronze Award in the 'Woman of the Year – Rising Star' category at the Citywealth Awards.
The winners were announced last Wednesday night in London at a gala dinner attended by business leaders from the world of private wealth. The announcement follows Helen's inclusion in Citywealth's 'IFC Powerwoman Top 200' list 2016.
The Citywealth Power Women Awards spotlight individuals and companies who support care giving responsibilities, female leadership and celebrate diversity, and who maximise the potential of women in leadership roles within the wealth sector to create a platform for best practice to collectively exercise positive social influence in their industry.
On winning the Bronze Award, Helen Ruelle said: "Any industry recognition is of course a personal honour, but for peers and clients to have taken the time to vote for me is truly a great accolade and I would like to thank everyone who took the time to do so."
Mourant Ozannes Jersey Managing Partner, Jonathan Speck, said: "Helen is an excellent lawyer who demonstrates strong technical ability, a proactive, client focused approach and genuine passion for her work. As a firm that prides itself on its strong focus on career progression, for the quality of our lawyers to once again be acknowledged is highly rewarding. Helen has been a driving force behind the success of our Jersey employment practice and we are proud to congratulate her on this recognition."
