Jersey International Business School are delighted to launch their 2016 Investment and Private Wealth Management Conference, which will be held on Tuesday 06 December 2016 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The Investment & Private Wealth Management industry faces a host of challenges, including technological developments, enhanced fiduciary responsibility, and a variety of regulatory burdens. This event will feature presentations from industry experts, across a broad spectrum of topics carefully chosen to meet the needs of those engaged in managing private wealth.
Speakers from local industry as well as global private wealth management leaders will examine a host of issues, including the evolving investment environment, central bank policy implications, and wider macro-economic considerations for the investment and private wealth management industry.
Delegates can expect a fascinating presentation on ‘Multi-asset investing: benefits in the current challenging investment environment' delivered by Yoram Lustig (Keynote Speaker), head of multi-asset investments UK at AXA Investment Managers. Yoram is a multi-asset portfolio manager and author, whose first two books, Multi-Asset Investing and The Investment Assets Handbook, were published in 2013 and 2014 (Harriman House). His latest book, The Financial Times Guide to Saving and Investing for Retirement, was published in 2016 (FT Publishing International).
The morning keynote speaker is Henk Potts, director of global research & investments at Barclays. In his current role, Henk analyses a wide variety of asset classes, including equities, currencies and commodities, as well as ascertaining and explaining the effects of macroeconomic changes on financial markets. Henk has regular television and radio commitments as Barclays’s in-house stock market expert and writes columns for various national UK newspapers and personal finance magazines.
