Professor Ivan Robertson, Director and Founder of Robertson Cooper, a Chartered Psychologist and a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, will be keynote speaker at the Jersey International Business School’s HR Forum taking place at the school on Thursday 25th July.
With everyone being asked to ‘do more with less’, maintaining business continuity & performance in these challenging times is essential. Resilience – the ability to perform under pressure when times are tough – has the power to drive, support and sustain a business into the future, but is one of the major untapped sources of potential in the economy.
This year's HR Forum titled “Building resilience at work: How to sustain performance under pressure” will be led by Professor Ivan Robertson, an internationally recognised industry expert in the arena of Occupational Psychology. He will be looking at emotional resilience and examining how it can help individuals and organisations, not only survive, but flourish in these difficult times.
This will be a fascinating opportunity to meet and interact with one of the world's leading experts on employee engagement and to network with other HR professionals and gain 2 hours CPD.
Ivan’s main focus at Robertson Cooper is to ensure the company remains connected with all relevant research and national policy. He also helps build the Robertson Cooper brand through publications, speaking opportunities and business development.
Ivan has published over 35 books in the arena of Occupational Psychology and is an internationally recognised industry expert in the areas of well-being, employee engagement, resilience, personnel selection, assessment and leadership development.
The Forum will be held at the Jersey International Business School on Thursday 25th July from 10am to 12pm followed by a networking lunch. Places are limited with ticket prices at £50 and anyone interested in attending should contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01534 816338.
