Walkers has welcomed James Lydeard as a Partner in our Jersey office, joining their fast-growing Banking and Finance team.
James has 13 years’ experience advising clients including financial institutions, sponsors and businesses on a wide range of banking and finance matters. James’ core focus is private credit, fund, leveraged, real estate and acquisition finance. He also advises on structured finance and restructuring matters.
James was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2011 and in the Cayman Islands in 2015. James joins from Ogier, where he practised from both their Cayman Islands and Jersey offices. James’ expertise spans complex cross-border deals, structured finance issuances across various asset classes including cryptocurrency and carbon credits, distressed lending and non-contentious restructuring.
