Jersey Cricket is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Fairway Super Series, taking place from the 12th to the 15th of September.

Supported by Fairway for the last nine years, this junior T20 cricket event is designed to offer a new tier of competitive play for the island’s brightest young cricketers, providing a unique opportunity for them to hone their skills and compete at a high level.

The Fairway Super Series not only fosters young cricket talent but also raises awareness for important local causes. This year, four teams will be competing, with each team affiliated with a local charity – Beresford Street Kitchen, Mind Jersey, Dementia Jersey, and Lord Taverners. Players from each team will engage with these charities, learning about their efforts and supporting their causes throughout the series.

This year’s series will feature U14 teams, which were selected through a draft system on Monday 9th September, and includes players from local cricket clubs such as St Ouen Springfield, Old Victorians, Farmers, Walkovers, Chirpys, and Lionesses.

The team captains for the 2024 series are:
• Oliver Ramage (Farmers)
• Oliver Vacher (Farmers)
• Freddie Harben (Old Victorians)
• Theo Vautier (Walkovers)

Additionally, the players will be mentored by leading international cricketers, including Harrison Carlyon, Charlie Miles, Brad Vautier, and Adam Hayward.

The fixtures will be held at FB Fields and Grainville, culminating in a thrilling Finals Day on Sunday 15th September. Media coverage will be provided by 3Ci Sport, who will capture interviews, draft night footage, and match highlights from the event.

“This year’s Fairway Super Series promises to be an exciting showcase of young cricket talent, while simultaneously contributing to the local community through its partnerships with the local charities. Jersey Cricket invites everyone to come and support these young athletes and the causes they represent,” said Alistair Rothwell, Group Director, Fairway.

“We are thrilled to have another season of Super Series cricket. The initiative is so effective in providing our young cricketers with a platform to showcase all the skills learnt throughout the 2024 club cricket season. The charity affiliation is also a brilliant way to provide exposure for local communities who are always in need of assistance. Thanks again to our sponsors Fairway for their support”. Lee Meloy, Head of Cricket Operations, Jersey Cricket.
