Led by Dr Rufaro Mucheka, the event was held to coincide with South Africa’s Women’s Day.
Guests heard from keynote speaker, Polo Leteka, Founder and Chair of IDF Capital; and panellists: Andrea Böhmert, Partner at Knife Capital; Tanya Goncalves (nee van Lill), Former CEO at Southern African Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SAVCA); Thandi Ngwane, Head of Investments at Melville Douglas South Africa; and Chévon Marupen, Senior Associate at Webber Wentzel.
Sharing perspectives and insights of women in leadership today across Africa, the panel explored how gender influences investment decisions and how this affects African women seeking to raise capital.
