To celebrate this achievement, Jersey Finance is proud to be partnering with the Association of Jersey Charities (AJC) – which also celebrates a special anniversary this year, the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1971.

The partnership will see Jersey Finance and its Member firms aim to fundraise £60,000 for the AJC by the end of the year. The AJC intends to use the funds raised for their charity awards later in 2021.

To celebrate the Island’s financial heritage during this year and beyond, Jersey Finance has launched the ‘Together We Shine’ campaign.

Throughout the year, Jersey Finance will work with local organisations including Jersey Heritage, Durrell, Jersey Post, JT and Visit Jersey and others, to develop a wide range of events, special promotions, and activities for Islanders to enjoy.

To donate towards the fundraising target, access a range of resources on the Island’s history in financial services, and find details of future events, special promotions and activities visit www.jerseyfinance.je/60years or follow ‘Jersey Finance’ on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn for updates.

Incidentally, 2021 also marks Jersey Finance’s 20th anniversary. Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer at Jersey Finance, says:

“We’re proud to be working with the AJC on this year-long campaign to raise £60,000 which will help to make a difference locally.

What the events of last year really drilled home was that community is everything. Through our Together We Shine campaign we’re hoping to build on and celebrate that community spirit. As the Island’s largest workforce, I believe we can achieve this.

“Celebrating two milestones in the same year is rather special, and Jersey Finance is delighted to be able to take part in supporting something so worthwhile, that’s closer to home and that helps our local community.”
