From 28 February, Jersey Finance’s leadership team will participate in a programme of activity as the Government of Jersey welcomes Rwandan country representatives to our Island.

Over the course of the week, the Rwandan delegation – comprising of key representatives from Rwanda’s finance bodies and agencies –  will meet with various Jersey stakeholders to learn more about our international finance centre (IFC) with a specific focus on tax policy, compliance, regulation and financial inclusion, as well as the challenges and opportunities ahead for IFCs.

On the visit, Jersey Finance CEO, Joe Moynihan, commented:

“Building on Jersey’s broad and deep relationship with Rwanda, Jersey Finance is proud to be part of this visit and we are delighted to be able to offer our continued support in the development of Kigali’s international finance centre”.
