Jersey Finance was praised for building ‘a story of brand development that created real differentiation to make Jersey stand out in a crowded world of finance jurisdictions’ when it was awarded Best Sustained Marketing Achievement at the Jersey Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards 2011.

The judging panel, which was chaired by Kevin Keen, CEO at Jersey Post and included Karen Paterson, CEO of Acrede, Steve Cartwright, Chairman of the CIM Jersey Branch, and Dr Paul Fifield, a UK marketing academic, concluded that Jersey Finance undertook ‘a strategic review of competitor offering and a thorough analysis of what makes Jersey different’ and ‘demonstrated how continuous investment in marketing can deliver sustained shareholder value.’

David Vieira, Head of Marketing at Jersey Finance, commented: ‘This award is testament to the commitment of the team at Jersey Finance in ensuring Jersey’s vast financial expertise is promoted around the world. Jersey Finance will continue to build on the success of the ‘expert’ element of our marketing efforts and to consolidate our expansion into international markets to help Jersey’s finance industry develop further.’

Jersey Finance accepted the award at a gala event at the Hotel de France in Jersey on Friday November 18th 2011.
