As well as events designed to reflect on our progress and highlight our growing credentials on the international stage, we also want to drive engagement locally to support a thriving and innovative sustainable finance ecosystem. Our March seminar on ESG considerations for trustees will demonstrate our efforts to provide a platform to understand the specific challenges and opportunities that our local industry faces – featuring a range of global and local speakers to deliver what promises to be a relevant and insightful session.
In March, a demo session will promote local innovators in the sustainable finance space and will tie in with our objective to develop new linkages across Jersey’s different clusters of expertise.
Mindful of the need to ensure we recognise the quality of service, depth of expertise and innovation that clients expect of Jersey, this year will also mark the year in which we launch our sustainable finance awards. These will reward particular firms and individuals in our finance sector who have embedded sustainable finance into the core of their business model and demonstrated a forward-thinking approach when it comes to putting Jersey on a path to leadership as a sustainable IFC. We will also continue with our very proactive Sustainable Community of Interest Group, where Members get involved in delivering our strategy for the future.
