Jersey has been crowned ‘International Finance Centre (IFC) of the Year’ for the tenth time in a row at the annual Citywealth IFC Awards 2022.

The awards ceremony took place at The Biltmore Mayfair Hotel in London on Wednesday 26 January and was hosted by comedian Jake Lambert. Jersey Finance’s Director in London Robert Moore accepted the award at the event.

Established eleven years ago by events and publishing group Citywealth, the awards highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector across the major IFCs. They are judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors, and winners are selected based on their achievement, innovation, expertise and service.

Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Finance, commented:

“Jersey’s consistent success at these awards is a real testament to the world-class service that we provide and the excellence of our financial community here on the Island. Continuing to be recognised as a leading IFC even after the turbulent couple of years that we have all experienced underlines Jersey’s resilience and adaptability, as well as the extensive pool of talent, skill, and expertise that makes up and strengthens our jurisdiction.

By maintaining our focus on innovation and sustainability, we look forward to continuing to support growth and prosperity worldwide.”
