The ‘Jersey’s Value to Africa’ report was launched in association with Chatham House, in November, and provides a fascinating insight into what the current barriers are to investment into Africa while highlighting how international financial centres, in particular Jersey, can offer a sound business environment to help mitigate some of the challenges.

In addition, it tackles the accusations often levelled by pressure groups of the role offshore financial centres play in the movement of capital from the developing world.
