Global professional services business JTC PLC is pleased announce the further strengthening of its Board through the appointment of May Hong Mei Knight as an independent non-executive director. This exciting appointment will take effect from 5 December 2024.

May Knight’s career spans over three decades in financial services, including banking, insurance, and asset management. Currently, she serves as an Independent NED and Chair of the Board Risk Committee at HSBC’s Global Insurance business. May’s expertise in risk management, governance, strategy, leadership development, and business growth, along with her commitment to diversity and inclusion, will bring valuable perspectives to the Board. In addition to her role as an independent non-executive director, May will be appointed as Chair of the Governance & Risk Committee.

JTC believes that a diverse and inclusive culture is a strategic imperative and alongside the wealth of experience May will bring to the Board, her appointment reflects the Board’s commitment to supporting the recommendations of the FTSE Women Leaders Review and the Parker Review, aligning with the purpose, values and culture of the business.
In addition to May’s forthcoming appointment, the Board expects to announce the appointment of a further independent non-executive director in early 2025.
