JTC’s Private Client Services (PCS) teams in Guernsey and Jersey have received recognition for the second consecutive year in the Wealthbriefing Channel Islands Awards.

Winners for the Awards, selected by an independent panel of experts, were announced at a celebratory reception at the Grand Jersey on 7 December, with JTC picking up the Award for the ‘Best Overall Trust Company’.

Launched in 2022, the Awards are designed to celebrate the brightest and best from across the Channel Islands’ wealth management community, encompassing teams and individuals. Last year, JTC won both the ‘Trust Employer of the Year’ and ‘Trust ESG Programme’ categories.

Recognition at the Wealthbriefing Channel Islands Awards concludes another highly successful year for JTC’s PCS team, with the firm also being named ‘Best Private Client Trust Company – Listed/Bank or PE Owned’ at the eprivateclient Excellence Awards and JTC Private Office winning the ‘Multi-Family Office (up to £1bn AUM)’ category at the Wealthbriefing European Awards in 2023.

Commenting on JTC’s success, Iain Johns, Group Head of Private Client Services, JTC, said
“As we reflect on 2023, there’s no doubt that, in a highly challenging environment, our PCS team has continued to deliver exceptional service right across our global network, and this latest Wealthbriefing Award is both a fantastic endorsement and a reflection of the combined efforts of our people, right across the division. This year we have continued to grow and evolve our global proposition, including through the acquisition of South Dakota Trust Company, but of course our focus remains firmly fixed on the future and on continuing to support clients in innovative ways in what continues to be a highly complex landscape.”
