We are delighted to announce that Life in Finance is back for 2022 and applications are now open to all Jersey Finance Member firms.
The work placement scheme, launched in 2013 by Jersey Finance for local Year 12 students interested in a career in finance, offers students a one to two-week work placement within a Member firm during the summer months, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the different roles available and the benefits of working in our industry.
Over the past few years, the scheme has also continued to give the many finance firms offering placements some real food for thought about the value our Island’s young people can add to the industry.
Those taking part clearly embrace the creativity and enthusiasm young people can offer, which is absolutely vital to the Island’s future prosperity. It means that young people can look to the future with more certainty around their career options and that employers can focus on the talent that is available locally.
