Two Mourant Ozannes employees have been sworn in as an Advocate and a Solicitor respectively at Jersey's Royal Court this morning (Monday 12 December 2016).
Advocate Monica Dunlop, a professional support lawyer and Solicitor, and Amy Wilson both took the oath of office at the traditional full sitting of the Royal Court.
Monica joined Mourant Ozannes in 2012 and originally trained and worked in London as a lawyer. She is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Amy joined Mourant Ozannes in 2011 and gained her law degree at the University of London though the Institute of Law, Jersey in 2013. Mourant Ozannes Partner, Gareth Rigby, said: "We are thrilled for Monica and Amy. This achievement is very well-deserved after the hard work and dedication they both have put in to their studies. We look forward to supporting them both as they develop further in their roles with us."
