A funds specialist at Mourant Ozannes was the only offshore lawyer to be shortlisted in the Women in Business Law Awards 2011.

Jacqueline Richomme, partner at the firm, was nominated in the Investment Funds category of the inaugural Euromoney Media Group event, which recognises the success and expertise of women in international legal business.

The nominations were drawn up from a combination of submissions and research, with the winners announced at a ceremony on 29th June at Claridge's in London, at which Cherie Booth QC was the key speaker.

Also shortlisted in the Investment Funds category alongside Jacqueline was eventual winner Isabelle Lebbe (Arendt & Medernach), and Kirstene Baillie (Field Fisher Waterhouse), Bridget Barker (Macfarlanes), Pamela Thompson (Eversheds), Ellen Cramer-de Jong (Allen & Overy) and Michèle Eisenhuth (Arendt & Medernach).

Jacqueline was also earlier this year named amongst the world's best 25 funds lawyers in the Legal Media Group’s ‘Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers – Best of the Best 2011’.
