Previously the independent financial services business’ Group Head of Private Client & Corporate, Mr Fearis has considerable knowledge and experience of the Group’s core activities.

A founder shareholder and part of the business since 1992 his expertise covers a wide variety of structures for private and corporate clients and regulated financial services businesses.

Joining Mr Fearis in a new look leadership team will be Richard Morris, who has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, having previously held the post of Head of Group Financial Reporting.

Dr Morris is based in the firm’s Jersey office having joined PraxisIFM in 2016. He has held previous roles as finance director for a technology start up and as an auditor, and is ACA-qualified.

PraxisIFM chairman Andrew Haining said: “Rob has been with the Group since 1992 and has considerable knowledge and experience of the Group’s core activities.’

Mr Fearis is currently responsible for the Groups’ Private Client & Corporate Services division, which represents over 60% of the Group’s annual turnover.

“Both appointments come at a busy time for the Group and the Board is confident that Rob has all the qualities needed to lead the Group as we enter the next stage of our development. We congratulate both Rob and Richard on their new roles.”

Mr Fearis is taking over the CEO role from Cees Krijgsman, who is returning to Amsterdam to prioritise the development of corporate pension administration business InAdmin RiskCo.
