Today (23 March), the Government of Jersey launched its Sustainable Finance Ambassadors Group at an event attended by representatives from our Island’s finance sector.

The group will champion Jersey’s green and sustainable commitments by supporting the government in developing its policies on sustainable finance, promoting alignment with these policies, educating the finance community by sharing good practices and behaviours in sustainable finance, and building a network for sustainable finance experts on-Island.

The group’s formation contributes to and aligns with the finance industry’s sustainable finance vision that: By 2030, Jersey will be recognised by its clients, key stakeholders, and other partners as the leading sustainable international finance centre in the markets we serve.
