Ogier Corporate Services has won the ICSA Jersey Administration Team of the Year Award at the ICSA awards ceremony held on Friday 21 June at the Hotel de France.  Ogier Group Partner Simon Mackenzie said "I was really pleased to collect this award on behalf of the Ogier Corporate Services team who are delighted to have their achievements recognised for the second year running at the ICSA awards.  ICSA qualifications enable us to deliver the highest standards of governance and administration services.  We pride ourselves on our approach to client service and making the complex legal and regulatory environment easier for our clients and it is very pleasing to receive this award."  The judges were looking for an organisation which demonstrated excellence across company law, regulation and compliance; corporate governance and shareholder relations; corporate transactions and restructuring; information management and communication as well as leadership and management.  Ogier Corporate Services also demonstrated excellence last year by winning the ICSA Jersey Administrator of the Year accolade at the 2012 awards ceremony.  In addition to last year's ICSA win for Ogier Corporate Services, Ogier's administration business continues to be recognised for its expertise across each of its core service lines.  In May this year, Ogier Private Wealth won the Independent Trust Company of the Year award at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards and Ogier Fund Services won the Private Equity News Fund Administrator of the Year award in 2011.  Ogier Fiduciary Services has also won industry awards in Guernsey and Cayman over the last year.ICSA (the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) is the international qualifying and membership body for the Chartered Secretary profession and a recognised authority on governance and compliance.  ICSA has over 36,000 members in the UK and Jersey is home to 800 members.  In the local context the qualification is recognised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and all the major employers.
