Ogier has notched up another offshore award having been named as “Offshore Law Firm of the Year” at the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence.

The awards honour outstanding law firms, reflecting both pre-eminence and notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. This leading legal publication had determined Ogier as the leading offshore firm in Europe ahead of six other short-listed firms.

The event, hosted by Chambers & Partners, took place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London and was attended by over 250 industry professionals. Simon Dinning, Managing Partner of Ogier London, collected the award for Ogier.

This follows the news that Ogier was voted “Channel Islands Law Firm of the Year” by PLC Which Lawyer?, another respected legal publisher.

Nick Kershaw, Chief Executive Officer of Ogier, commented “We pride ourselves on having first-rate legal practices across all our jurisdictions and were well-placed to handle the many complex and challenging matters that arose in what was a turbulent 2009. The quality and professionalism of our people has undoubtedly led to this latest awards success.”

Ogier has won a number of awards in recent years that have been either global, regional, for a notable transaction or for specific areas of expertise.
