Ogier will be supporting Le Squez Youth Club with funding for a full time assistant youth worker from January 2012. The St Clement's based club targets young people from 11 – 25 years old from the Le Squez estate and provides a range of activities including sports, cooking and arts and crafts.
In addition to their funding for the youth worker, Ogier will run legal advice drop in clinics, offer work experience placements and work with club members to re-vamp the youth club entrance.
Paul Willing, Chief Executive Officer of Ogier Fiduciary Services, said "It is great to know that our funding will help Le Squez Youth Club continue to provide support to their members. The work that they do is invaluable; it is so important for young people to have a fun, safe and positive place to meet and socialise as well as learn new skills, and Le Squez provides exactly this."
Jane Donald, Senior Youth Worker at Le Squez said "We are very grateful for Ogier's support. We are looking forward to working together and have a number of projects lined up where we believe that their involvement will really make a difference to our community and our members. This includes brightening up our club and working together to put on some events. We will be starting with a sports day where young people will be able to take part and try out lots of different sports and fun activities!"
