OGIER’s leading position in the Channel Islands was underlined this week by the firm picking up the “Channel Islands Law Firm of the Year” award by respected legal publisher PLC Which Lawyer?

This comes on the back of a string of awards the firm has earned in recent years that are either global, regional or for specific areas of legal expertise.

PLC Which Lawyer? opened the voting and nomination process in February this year and canvassed over 5,500 legal departments to have their say in picking the winning law firms for the various awards that were on offer. Winners were chosen purely on the votes received from in house lawyers for each category.

Nick Kershaw, Chief Executive Officer, commented, “This latest award is particularly pleasing to receive. Knowing that so many of our clients took the trouble to single Ogier out as the best law firm in the Channel Islands is a great tribute to our legal teams in both islands.”

PLC Which Lawyer? is a leading legal publisher that produces guides to the leading lawyers and law firms in more than 110 countries and has been providing independently researched market intelligence on lawyers active in core commercial practices areas since 1995.
