Ogier, one of the world’s leading providers of offshore legal and fiduciary services, will move into Jersey’s largest and greenest single occupancy office in September 2010. The move to Ogier House is the result of long term planning by the Ogier Partners, building on the success the business has enjoyed and demonstrating commitment to continued growth. The development site at 44 The Esplanade, St Helier, was identified as providing the ideal location for Ogier’s new office and the partnership between Ogier, developer JCN and local building firm Camerons as the main contractor has resulted in an outstanding building and a new landmark for St Helier. Ogier House has a “very good” BREEAM rating (Building Research Establishment environment assessment method), and is the first office in Jersey to be built to the BREEAM specification which sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design. Ensuring that the new building provides a top quality working environment and an outstanding experience for clients has been the overriding goal of the project. Matthew Thompson, Managing Partner Jersey Legal said “the natural light that floods into the building and the facilities that we have will make Ogier the best place to work and by bringing all our specialists together under one roof we will provide our clients with a seamless, integrated service.” The move into Ogier House is being welcomed by employees. “As one of the island’s top 5 private sector employers and with over 500 staff based in Jersey we need to make sure that we have office facilities that are second to none, give us room for future growth and enhance the way in which we work with our clients” said Helen Bunbury, Group Chief Operating Officer. Ogier clients will benefit from a higher level of service as the teams work more closely, in a more integrated and more efficient way. “Bringing everybody together from three separate offices in St Helier is going to have a profound impact on the way in which we interact on a day to day basis” said Philip Norman, Group Director, Ogier Fiduciary Services. From 16 September 2010 Ogier’s new address in Jersey will be: Ogier House The Esplanade St Helier Jersey JE4 9WG
