Monday 10 March: Launch event of the Sustainable Finance Summit featuring a keynote presentation from Professor Mike Berners-Lee.
Tuesday event focussing on innovation, technology and inclusive economics.
The Wednesday event examines the next steps for Jersey, both as an Island community and an international finance centre.
Sustainable finance is no longer a choice but a necessity. It's the bedrock of future economic prosperity, driving investments that balance profit with the planet's health. As the global awareness of environmental and social issues intensifies and regulation gears up, the importance for Jersey of building a strong ecosystem around sustainable finance continues to rise.
Director, KPMG in the Crown Dependencies
Now, arguably more than ever, as a leading International Finance Centre, Jersey has both a responsibility and an opportunity to be a hub of expertise and facilitator of capital flows for global sustainable development. Although we've made good progress as an island, there is much more to do to remain competitive and capture our market share as global sustainable AuM continues to grow.
The Summit is your chance to hear a fantastic array of international and local expert speakers, contribute to debate, foster new collaborations and build further momentum. We’d urge everyone to attend, in particular if you are new to the topic and haven’t yet considered what the sustainable finance opportunity could mean for you and your business.
