For the first time, Jersey Finance representatives hosted an ‘Ask the Experts clinic’ in St Helier last Friday (4 June) to provide financial and careers information to the public as part of the celebrations marking 60 years of the finance industry.
Photographed are representatives from Ashburton Investments, Bracken Rothwell, Highlands College, Santander International and Quilter Cheviot who came together at the Santander Work Café at Charing Cross to meet Islanders to discuss financial matters and careers in free one to one sessions. Also pictured is Joe Moynihan, Jersey Finance CEO at the front and local musician, Phoebe Over, on his right. Phoebe performed for 90 minutes, adding to the relaxed atmosphere of the day.
The event was a success, both in helping to both inform the public about the range of financial services available and learn more about the wider finance industry. It also provided an opportunity to raise further funds for the Association of Jersey Charities, Jersey Finance’s chosen charity in the industry’s anniversary year.
