Our inaugural Jersey Finance US Roadshow ‘Driving Stateside Ambition: The Future of Funds’ visited the cities of Chicago, New York, Miami and San Francisco. It was a fantastic opportunity to extend Jersey’s message to audiences in the hugely important US market through key events and networking opportunities. Not only did we host nine events, our itinerary was extended further to include two events that we sponsored. These were a breakfast seminar in New York hosted by IFI Global on ‘The Future of the International Fund Centres’ and the 5th Annual Private Equity San Francisco Forum, organised by The Markets Group.
Philip Pirecki, our business development lead in the US, together with our CEO Joe Moynihan and Elliot Refson, Head of Funds, were able to demonstrate how Jersey is an ideal hub for US managers in alternative funds. They were delighted to be joined by Richard Corrigan, Director General, Government of Jersey, and representatives from Jersey Finance Member firms, Carey Olsen, JP Morgan, Sanne, Suntera and Walkers.
