Paul Hunter joined PCD Club’s webinar on succession planning in the GCC

Paul Hunter recently joined the panel for a webinar, hosted by David Bell of the PCD Club, as part of the PCD Club’s Middle East Series to discuss succession planning for HNW families in the GCC.

Paul’s fellow panel members included Robert Evan of Property Wealth Management, Alastair Glover of Trowers & Hamlins and John J. Ryan of CISA Trust here.

A wide range of matters were discussed including trends from next gen clients in wealth structuring, including developments in governance arrangements.  The panel considered some of the factors involved when families are choosing the jurisdiction of their family office and the prominent jurisdictions for family offices.

Paul discussed the use of family charters by GCC families and how families are spending greater time discussing the needs of their family as a group and matters such as philanthropy and ESG investing.
