Daniel Edmunds has been promoted to account executive at local insurance broker, Rossborough, taking on responsibility for the management of one of the existing commercial teams.

Mr Edmunds is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has progressed from personal lines broker to his current position since joining the company in 2005. In his new role, he will be responsible for the management of an existing commercial team, working closely with managing director, Clive De La Cour.

Mr De La Cour said: ‘Daniel’s technical knowledge and his understanding of Rossborough’s ethos of providing first-class, tailored insurance services makes him the perfect candidate for this position.  As Jersey’s only Chartered Insurance Broker, it is of great importance to us that we offer our clients an exceptional and professional service and we know Dan will do just that.’

Mr Edmunds commented: ‘I am delighted to have been promoted to the position of account executive and am grateful to Rossborough for their continued support of my professional career development. My new role will involve providing specialist insurance services to local law firms, fund managers, trust companies and other clients with large and exciting global client bases – it’s a fantastic challenge and one I am really looking forward to.’

Mr Edmunds, who was born in Jersey, attended De La Salle College before studying for a degree in Physics at Durham University. He previously held the positions of private clients administrator, commercial account administrator and commercial account handler before his recent promotion.

In his spare time, Mr Edmunds is a keen flying enthusiast and is currently working towards his private pilots license. He also enjoys playing the guitar and is a member of Jersey Rugby Club.   In December 2013, Rossborough’s parent group was acquired by a leading global broker, Arthur J Gallagher & Co, giving Rossborough’s clients access to specialist insurance teams around the world.
