Last week Rathbones won a Gold Standard Award for Discretionary Portfolio Management for the second consecutive year at the annual Investment Week awards, held at the House of Commons.
The Gold Standard Awards assess standards of service, financial strength, fair value and trust, as well as governance and social responsibility.
The awards, now in their 13th year, reward financial services firms that can prove they have “strong, transparent structures and procedures in place.” Entrants must also demonstrate how they go above and beyond standard practices to fulfill customer needs and are assessed on five key criteria including being a trustworthy adviser in which clients can have confidence.
Phil Bain, Deputy Managing Director of Rathbones Jersey said, “We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award for two years running. To be recognised for excelling in so many important areas reflects one of our core values, that of putting our clients first and having them at the heart of our business.”
