New York, October 28, 2011 – RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE), today announced the appointment of two new U.S.-based Directors within RBC Wealth Management’s International Solutions Team.
Wayne Pearson has been appointed Director, International Solutions. Based in San Francisco, Roberta Ruddy has also been appointed Director, International Solutions, and will cover the West Coast region including California. Both will work closely with RBC partners and professional advisors in providing specialist support for the delivery of wealth management services, including access to RBC’s world-leading trust solutions.
Located in key territories in the U.S. and Canada, RBC Wealth Management’s International Solutions Team works closely with professional advisors and RBC’s network of offices in financial centres around the world to provide high net worth and corporate clients with access to a wide range of wealth management solutions, including trust and fiduciary services, private banking, investment solutions, credit and financing solutions, custody, and corporate employee and executive services.
Ralph Awrey, Managing Director, International Solutions, RBC Wealth Management, said: “A fast-moving regulatory environment and volatile markets have added to the already complex needs of our international high net worth client base. Wayne and Roberta both have deep knowledge of U.S. tax and estate law and its impact on clients with interests or connections with the U.S., coupled with a thorough understanding of RBC’s product suite. They are perfectly placed to build our partnership with advisors in the New York and San Francisco areas further.”
