Two members of the Deloitte Jersey tax team, Hamish Crake and Rupert Lee, have been named in eprivateclient’s latest Channel Island Top 35 Under 35 list.

This will be the third time that Hamish has been named on the list and the second time for Rupert.

The Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35 aims to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the rising stars of private client professions.

Factors considered during the judging process included the seniority of who made the nomination and the individual’s achievements over the past 12 months, including the number and content of the nominations they received.

Hamish has been at Deloitte for over seven years. His role focuses on corporate and international tax advice. He is a recognised leader in his field of Global Information Exchange and associated compliance for administrators, fiduciaries and their clients.

Rupert oversees the firm’s Jersey and cross border corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements and is widely recognised as a leading practitioner and frequent commentator on economic substance legislation, transactions, and cross-border funds flows.

Martin Rowley, Tax Partner at Deloitte in Jersey, said: ‘We are incredibly proud of Hamish and Rupert, for their continuous recognition in the eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 list. Their dedication to Deloitte and the teams they work within is fantastic to see, and they and Deloitte Tax more broadly are very deserving of this acknowledgement.

‘At Deloitte we’re passionate about fostering talent, developing people and helping them achieve their career aspirations. It’s great to see Hamish and Rupert amongst their high-calibre peers of the sector on the list.’
