Jersey Finance is delighted to announce that impressionist, playwright and comedian Rory Bremner will be the guest speaker at the Jersey Finance ‘Golden Gala’, on Friday 9th September to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Island’s finance industry. The line up will also include local bands Acapella Brass and Inside Job.   

As Britain’s best-loved impressionist, Rory will also act as auctioneer at the glittering event, which will bring together more than 500 members of the finance industry and the wider community. This unique fund raising evening aims to raise at least £50,000 for the Association of Jersey Charities.

“The Golden Gala is a unique event celebrating 50 years of financial heritage in Jersey, and we are thrilled that Rory Bremner will be our guest speaker and is taking on the role of auctioneer in order to raise as much money as possible for local charities.

We hope guests will get into the spirit during the various fund raising initiatives on the night and we have some fantastic auctions lots on offer, which include a luxury weekend away to watch the Six Nations England vs. Ireland rugby match, and signed memorabilia from world No. 1 golfer Luke Donald and Tim Henman.”
