Tickets have sold out for the Round Table Charity Ball, one of the island’s largest annual fundraising balls.

The ball, which sees 20 Round Table members don costume and perform a cabaret style show for 560 guests, sold out in record time when tables became available earlier this year, despite the event taking place on 27th November at Hotel de France.

The event, which this year has a Cowboy and Indians theme, promises to be a great fundraising event at which the Round Table team expect to raise significant sums for local good causes.  Attendees will also be treated to a one-off musical duet during their meal featuring both local and international talent.

‘As a sponsor of the Round Table Charity Ball, Hawksford International would like to congratulate the team on organising yet another event which promises to be a huge success’. We have had a sneak preview at one of the event rehearsals and I can assure attendees that they are in for a spectacular night of fun and fundraising. ‘We are proud to be involved with events such as these which benefit the local community,’ said Peter Murley, Chief Executive, Hawksford International.

‘We are extremely excited about this year’s event. Tickets were snapped up early, it is just such a shame that as we already use one of the biggest venues in Jersey for the event as demand for tickets continues to exceed supply,’ said Jason English of Jersey Round Table. ‘We couldn’t put on such an excellent event if it weren’t for the support of sponsors and raffle prize donors.  This generosity helps us to ensure that as much money as possible goes to local charities.’

The members of the Jersey Round Table dedicate a great deal of time to fundraising for good causes – a Round Table team recently took part in a charity abseil down Cyril Le Marquand House and have also organised the Tour de Jersey for the past two years. The club also provides charity casino nights, whilst the highlight for many tablers are the sleigh runs which enable Santa to visit locations across the island in the run up to Christmas.

Round Table is also focussed on assisting the community and in helping the community's less fortunate members internationally, nationally and locally. Tablers all agree that Round Table offers them the opportunity for lasting friendship and development of themselves as individuals. or e-mail info@jerseyroundtable.com
