The Jersey Good Business Charter has appointed two new Directors to its Board.

Lisa Springate and Nigel Campbell will join the existing Board of Jersey business leaders to help steer the Charter into its next phase of development and growth.

Lisa Springate is a member of the leadership team at Jersey Finance and Head of the Legal & Technical Department. She was appointed as Chair of the Jersey Institute of Directors in 2019. She was recently nominated for “Inspirational Leader of the Year” in the Pride of Jersey Awards and has been a consecutive winner in the Citywealth Power Women Awards. Lisa will take up her post with the Board in the summer.

Nigel Campbell divides his time between various roles including Chairman of a UK company, Supervisory Board member of Berlin based business, major shareholder in Mercury Distribution and a Trustee of the Jersey Charity Bosdet.

Welcoming the new members of the Board, Brendan McMahon, Chair of the Jersey Good Business Charter, commented:

“These two new appointments bring with them an enormous wealth of experience and expertise. One of the best things about being involved with the Charter has been the rich conversation among Board members about the changing face of business, both in Jersey and globally, and how the Charter can be a part of this transformation. I know that Lisa and Nigel will make this conversation even more exciting and will strengthen the Charter in our mission to help Jersey continue to become a globally leader in ethical business, sustainability and good corporate citizenship.”

The Jersey Good Business Charter was founded in 2018 as not-for-profit organisation with the mission to highlight, celebrates and encourage the contribution of businesses in Jersey to building a better community and a better world. The Charter currently has 15 corporate members from 8 different sectors, ranging from businesses with less than 20 employees to over 400.
