Ogier have announced the appointment of three new partners across the Jersey and Luxembourg offices.

The appointments are effective from 1 October and the new partners are: Fabien Debroise in Ogier's Luxembourg office; Niamh Lalor and Bruce MacNeil in Ogier's Jersey office.

Fabien Debroise's appointment underlines the continued strength of growth in our Luxembourg office where we now have a four Partner team after just two and a half years of operating in that jurisdiction.  Fabien has special expertise in syndicated lending and leveraged acquisition finance, as well as debt restructuring and insolvency.

Niamh Lalor has been with the Group for over 13 years and in that time has developed a strong Funds practice, with particular emphasis on the regulatory work undertaken in the team. Niamh offers clients an outstanding depth of knowledge in the Funds practice area which continues to see a great deal of change.

Bruce MacNeil joined Ogier in 2008 as part of the Jersey Banking and Finance team and he has led on numerous high value and high profile banking and finance transactions. Bruce also works closely with the teams in both Guernsey and Luxembourg, providing the cross jurisdictional capability Ogier clients look for.

Global Managing Partner, Nick Kershaw said "These promotions underline our commitment to investing in and developing our internal talent.  Our focus is to look for opportunities to add strength to our partnership by continuing to promote our existing talented people, together with bringing in new hires at a senior level."
