Fiona Le Poidevin, CEO of The International Stock Exchange Group (TISEG), has won an award at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards held in London.

Mrs Le Poidevin picked up the Bronze Award in the Woman of the Year – Business Growth category.

Mrs Le Poidevin said: “I am delighted to have won this award. The International Stock Exchange (TISE) has experienced fantastic growth over the last few years and it is very pleasing to have that recognised in this way. It is a testimony to the hard work of all my colleagues across the TISE group and the significant milestones we are achieving together as a team.”

The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards are now in their seventh year and aim to champion women and highlight female leaders who are impacting and influencing the wealth industry.

This year the awards ceremony took place on Thursday 21 February at the Rosewood London Hotel. There were 22 categories, with winners of the awards selected from a shortlist of more than 100 women drawn up by a panel of independent judges and voted on by the public. Awards were presented at the ceremony by former England rugby player and England international David Flatman.

In the Women of the Year – Business Growth category, Gold was won by Farah Ballands from Estera and Silver by Sheila Dean of Equiom.

Mrs Le Poidevin added: “Huge congratulations to Farah and Sheila for their success too in what was a very competitive category featuring leaders of some very successful businesses.”

In 2018, there were 865 new listings on TISE, which was an increase of 23% year on year and represented the highest number of newly listed securities on the Exchange since the business was established in 1998.
