Intertrust in Jersey has appointed two new client directors within its fund services team as Methé Porter has joined the company and Nick McHardy has been promoted.
Miss Porter is a qualified accountant with more than 15 years’ industry experience. She has a degree in accounting, a diploma in credit risk management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. She specialises in providing business solutions and plans for clients during transitional periods and high-risk, complex transactions. Miss Porter will work on a large private equity client to ensure her team continues to provide excellent client service to meet the client’s needs.
Mr McHardy joined the company in 2013 where he started as a senior financial account manager and progressed as manager onto developing two new teams; a funds operations team and an administration team. He has a degree in accounting and financial management and qualified as an accountant with PwC in 2010, where he worked for eight years. Other than focusing on the delivery of client service, he will ensure internal key performance indicators are adhered to form a finance, risk and compliance perspective and support the team in achieving this.
As client directors, they will both ensure the delivery of optimal client service so that Intertrust’s funds team has the right structure, tools and guidance to meet the client's needs. They aim to strengthen existing client relationships and help forge new ones as the business grows.
Alex Di Santo, Director of Fund Services at Intertrust in Jersey, said: “We are pleased to welcome Methé to our team. She has a high level of technical expertise in the alternative investment funds sector and has extensive product knowledge which will contribute to our continued excellence in client service provision and the growth of our business.
“We would also like to congratulate Nick on his promotion. He has a wealth of knowledge of the industry and is a great asset to our ever-growing business. We are sure that both their ideas and plans will have a positive impact on our team and clients alike.”
Miss Porter said: “Intertrust made it clear to me that their people matter to them. They help develop employees’ skills and knowledge to facilitate opportunities for career advancement and foster a wonderful working environment. I liked Intertrust's willingness to offer bespoke, customized solutions to their clients and not just a ‘one-size fits all’ model. I found it impressive how Intertrust works so closely with clients to determine the right level of involvement and support and I look forward to being part of the team.”
Mr McHardy said: “I work with a great team of very talented people. I enjoy being part of a large stable global business as I find it more rewarding to be able to deliver a global full-service offering for a client and I’m excited to continue to develop new skills in my new role.”
