UBS Global Wealth Management today announced that Stephen Coelho, a Client Advisor in the firm’s Jersey office, has been named a Rising Star in Banking in the 2022 Jersey Finance Rising Star Awards. The awards, now in their third year, are designed to recognise future leaders across the financial services industry by celebrating young talent in Jersey.
This award adds to Stephen’s list of achievements in the last 12 months, starting with a job promotion in September 2021 to his current role as Client Advisor, closely followed by the announcement in January 2022 that Stephen ranked first in the country for students taking the Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities (CISI), Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) exam in 2021.

Over 150 young professionals were nominated for the 2022 Jersey Finance Rising Star Awards, of which 42 were shortlisted by the panel of independent judges. Over 50,000 votes were cast by members of the public to determine the winners – an increase of almost a third on last year’s total number of votes.
