Volaw has recently engaged the services of a respected consultant with extensive experience in property development, investment and private equity in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Jason Meads has worked in Russia for the last 20 years having lived in Moscow for seven of those years. He speaks fluent Russian and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor. Mr Meads was educated at Stowe School and City University, London, where he studied Property Valuation and Finance.

Whilst in Moscow Mr Meads was a founding partner of Stolny Grad, a Moscow-based development company. He also managed the development of Usadba Centre and Novinsky Bulvar 31 on behalf of Moscow City Government.

Mr Meads, who returned to Jersey in early 2012, now holds several directorships of high profile real estate funds and companies; amongst these are the largest developer and owners of shopping centres in Russia. He is also an investor and partner in Patron Capital which is one of the leading real estate private equity funds in Europe which has made investments in many countries, including Russia.

Mr Meads will be working with Volaw’s Russian & CIS business team and will be using his contacts, expertise and knowledge to help promote Volaw’s services to both high net worth individuals and corporate clients who could take advantage of Volaw’s experience in creating and administering bespoke structures.
