The winners of Jersey Finance’s 2024 Sustainable Finance Awards were announced at a gala ceremony last night.

Taking place at the Freedom Centre and now in their third year, the awards this year formed a critical component of Jersey Finance’s inaugural week-long Sustainable Finance Summit which, through a series of events, seminars and workshops explored the role of Jersey’s finance industry in navigating to an economy that contributes to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The awards are designed to identify the individuals in Jersey who are championing progress and showcase the expertise of firms who are demonstrating innovation in Jersey’s sustainable finance ecosystem, supporting Jersey’s efforts to position itself as a leading centre for sustainable finance.

This year, the awards featured a total of 10 categories to reflect leadership and innovation across Jersey’s core financial services sectors. The winners, selected by a panel of independent judges including Andrew Mitchell, Founder and CEO at Equilibrium Futures, Amy Blackwell, Founder of Amy Blackwell Advisory, and Dame Susan Rice, Global Ethical Finance Initiative (GEFI), Chair – Global Steering Group, were as follows:

Amy Bryant, Deputy Chief Executive of Jersey Finance, commented:

“Our vision is for Jersey to be a true leader in the sustainable finance space – it’s an ambition that was echoed again and again over the course of our Sustainable Finance Summit. To do that, we must have the right expertise and knowledge – and I think our awards have shown that we do have that in abundance, right across the diverse strands that make up our financial and professional services landscape. This is really encouraging for our future as an industry and as an Island.

“I’d like to offer my congratulations to all our winners for their thoroughly deserved recognition, and extend a big thank you also to our headline sponsors, HSBC, KPMG in the Crown Dependencies and PwC, as well as our independent panel of judges for their insights and guidance this year”.
