Overview

A career within Financial Markets Business Advisory services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients’ complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.

Programme:

The Digital Degree Apprenticeship provides an opportunity to work towards a first undergraduate degree whilst working within an exciting and growing Risk Assurance Services team. This is part of the Digital Degree Apprenticeship (DDA) Programme, in collaboration with the University of Exeter and the Government of Jersey. The scheme is available to applicants across the Channel Islands and will cover all tuition fees.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for ambitious, creative thinkers, who want to get their career off to a great start, working in an environment that will challenge and reward you as you progress.

Risk Assurance provides advice and assistance based on our deep information risk management and business process skills to help our internal and external clients improve the way they operate and use technology and data to innovate and grow, reduce costs, manage risks and change the way they do business.

During our four year programme you will study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions degree with the University of Exeter, after the second year you will have the opportunity to select a specialist pathway for your third and fourth years in one of the following areas: Software Engineering, Data Analysis, IT Business Analysis, IT Consultancy, or Cyber Security.

You will also have one week residential each term, along with approximately one day a week remote, with a role working as part of the Risk Assurance team for approximately four days each week. You will build knowledge and experience across our four practice areas gaining valuable foundational capabilities across Digital Audit, Data Assurance, Cyber Security and Tech Risk and Trust and Transparency Services.

Alongside studying for your degree, as part of the DDA programme we also commit to providing you with opportunities to undertake a blended learning programme including professional certifications, industry and market experience, and human difference (“soft”) skills training including leadership and self-awareness. You’ll have a lot of support from your team, career coach and buddy to help you achieve this.

Who is this vacancy for and what you’ll need:

It doesn’t matter who you are or what your schooling background is. As you’ll no doubt have gathered by now, we believe diversity is our strength.

You’ll need to have achieved or be on track to achieve 120 UCAS points or above in one sitting. Your A Levels, or equivalent qualifications can be in any subject.

Do you need a Work Permit?

Due to immigration restrictions in Jersey and Guernsey the Channel Islands firm is unable to consider apprenticeships for candidates who require work permits.
