We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Banking Operations team and develop essential skills for a sucessful future.

As a Trainee Administrator you will support with and process wholesale trades booked by our traders, ensuring timely cash settlement and confirmation matching.

You will support the area of banking and ensure all transactions are dealt with in accordance with our defined Service Level Agreements and providing additional support for the Bank’s Treasury Control activities.

What will you do?

Process trades tickets produced by the dealers, ensuring cash settlement and confirmation matching is performed in a timely manner.
Input system rate updates.
Paying in Cheques in all currencies, including Special Presentations, Collections and Negotiations.
Support the production and validation of audit requests and interest certificates.
Actively try to understand Regulations and Market changes as advised by Assistant Manager.
Represent the Company and department in a professional manner whilst dealing with our internal and external clients.
Input and reconciliation of fees, interest to be applied.
Reporting on External positions, trading, and profit for various RBC entities.
Daily tick back of the previous days input, providing the dealers with timely and accurate currency positions.

Some understanding of the banking products offered by the business lines.
Basic knowledge of SWIFT.
Experience of supporting Banking/Payments activity within a high-volume business.
A basic understanding of Banking and Treasury Products.
