Swiss Funds Seminars

We are holding two Swiss funds seminars next week and would be delighted if you or any Swiss contacts you have could join us. The breakfast seminars will be held on Wednesday 23 October, in Geneva, and Thursday 24 October, in Zurich, and will provide an opportunity to hear from experts in their field on how Swiss fund managers are increasingly taking advantage of Jersey as both a domicile and jurisdiction. The events will also provide the chance to network with fellow professionals.

Brexit Trade Consultation – Industry Input Required

When Brexit takes place, Jersey’s approach to external trade will need to adapt to the new relationships between the UK, the EU and beyond. Once the UK leaves the EU and the customs union, it will once again be responsible for negotiating its own international trade agreements with the EU and others. The Government of Jersey has asked for feedback to help inform its ongoing engagement with the UK Government and other partners on trade-related matters. Due to the potentially significant impact on Jersey in terms of our trading relationships and domestic policy, Jersey Finance is currently engaging with trade bodies in relation to this consultation (which can be found here) and feedback from Members is welcomed and encouraged, either directly or through their relevant trade body, by Friday 15 November 2019.

For all other Brexit related questions, please consult the Jersey Brexit Ready webpage.
