JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to join JPMorgan, this role is a Jobshare (part-time hours where 2 people share the responsibility of the role) if this is the flexibility you need this could be the role for you.

The Receptionist / Location Manager for J.P. Morgan’s Channel Islands operations, based in St. Helier, Jersey, is the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and staff. This is a wide ranging role, which will see you split your time between a variety of administrative, office management and customer service responsibilities.

You will work with colleagues across the business to ensure that the firm’s clients and suppliers receive a first class experience and that our offices in Jersey and Guernsey run smoothly. This is a part time contract 2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Reception

Greet all visitors to the office on arrival
Set up for and clear away after internal and external meetings / events
Taxi bookings for staff & visitors
Manage building access for staff and visitors, escorting where required
Arrange courier / mail collections / deliveries
Ensure office supplies (refreshments, stationary, print supplies etc.) are available as required

Business Support

Invoice management: processing, chasing, set up new vendors, filing records and generating regular reporting
On / off boarding of new staff / leavers
Support business groups with preparation of client presentation materials
Check vendors / clients with regulatory liaison notices

General Office Maintenance

Arranging for secure shredding bins to be collected / delivered
Ensure communal areas remain tidy / fridge cleared / coffee machine cleaned as required
Ensure communal facilities (e.g. washrooms) remain stocked
Inspect facilities weekly, arranging for engineering visits as required and completing weekly maintenance log

The successful candidate will:

be proactive, anticipating the needs of others and taking action to provide for them
be flexible and take ownership of new responsibilities as required
basic Microsoft Office suite proficiency required
