Joining a successful and expanding wealth management firm, this individual will be a key member of the trust business – providing client administration and support to the team as a whole through the maintenance and accurate upkeep of all client records. The individual will work closely with trust officers, managers and directors as well as our clients and intermediaries. The position requires attention to detail, efficiency, common sense, initiative, a positive professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment. An aptitude for juggling changing priorities, an enquiring mind and a sense of humour are also desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities will include;

  • Delivering efficient, considered and professional management of clients’ affairs at all times
  • Undertaking general administration of all client entities in an organised and diligent manner
  • Assisting trust officers, managers and directors with their client portfolios when required
  • Accurately maintaining clients’ records, including file set-up, scanning, manual filing and e-filing
  • Acting as a proactive team player with the confidence to work well with all levels of people
  • Communicating effectively with clients and intermediaries
  • Undertaking basic elements of periodic risk reviews

Qualifications and skills

  • Must have “Entitled for Work” status i.e. minimum of 5 years’ residency in Jersey
  • An absolute minimum of 12 months experience in trust administration
  • Have a basic knowledge and experience of administering offshore structures
  • Ability to work as part of a team in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Good at building and maintaining relationships, with first-rate interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and confidence to complete projects
