Joining a successful and expanding wealth management firm, this individual will be a key member of the trust business – managing a portfolio of trusts, companies and related structures delivering excellent administration and client service whilst providing support, assistance and direction to other team members. The individual will work closely with administrators, peers and directors, as well as our clients and intermediaries. The position requires attention to detail, common sense and initiative, a positive professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment. An aptitude for juggling changing priorities, an enquiring mind and a sense of humour are also desirable.

Duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Delivering efficient, considered and professional management of clients’ affairs at all times
  • Overseeing and managing routine work undertaken by Trust Administrators of all client entities in an organised and diligent manner
  • Assisting the relevant Trust Director with the on-boarding of new clients
  • Attending meetings and effectively communicating with clients and/or their advisors
  • Undertaking periodic risk reviews and client reviews
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of a designated client portfolio to ensure a personalised service is provided
  • Ensuring that all activities undertaken reflect and respect our Ethical Charter

Qualifications and skills;

  • Must have “Entitled for Work” status i.e. minimum of 5 years’ residency in Jersey
  • A minimum of 7 years’ relevant industry experience in the private client trust sector
  • Have an excellent knowledge and experience of administering offshore structures
  • Good at building and maintaining relationships, with first-rate interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm to run and complete projects
  • Hold the STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management and/or ICSA Diploma/professional in Offshore Finance and Administration
